Jalbert Productions worked with the Cellucor Marketing Team to develop branded content showcasing their new partnership with Tough Mudder. JPI shot over the course of two days in LA with two Cellucor sponsored athletes, Craig Capurso and Karina Bay Miller, to capture a variety of content to introduce Cellucor’s products to the world of Tough Mudder. This video is their primary piece of content.
Jalbert Productions teamed up with MET-Rx to develop a series titled Team Legit Strong – TLS – that is designed to showcase athletes who demonstrate strength beyond its traditional definition; people that are well rounded and illustrate a variety of strengths beyond their sport. This profile showcases Kavan Lake, a man from modest beginnings who is a Naval Academy Winged Aviator, FSU Football player, Naval Academy Sprint Football Coach, husband and father of two girls. Over the 1.5 day shoot in Annapolis, MD we were able to create this primary profile, along with a variety of social clips.
Tough Mudder wanted to create a highly produced web series focused on training for their 2015 Tough Mudder Obstacles. Creating Instructional Training Videos is a unique task, especially when delivering upwards of 20 video deliverables for a variety of digital channels like Instagram, Facebook & YouTube’s Training Playlist. JPI took the lead in casting, developing the series’ creative approach, producing and posting all the content. We shot with a combination of cameras including the Sony FS7, Sony F55, Canon 5D Mark III, Panasonic GH4, Sony A7S, full grip truck and audio team over the course of three days.
With the mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors, Wounded Warrior Project is the hand extended to encourage warriors as they adjust to their new lives and achieve new triumphs. By 2017 they estimate to have served 100,000 warriors and their families. Over the summer, we flew to WWP’s partner, St. Louis Rams training facility, to document Wounded Warrior Project’s new Expo designed to teach veterans about the four pillars of basic wellness: fitness, nutrition, wellness, and inclusive sports. Our job was to capture this educational event and build the videos to support its message and inspire others to participate.
In 2015, Tough Mudder is preparing to launch a whole new arsenal of industry leading obstacles. Within TMHQ, a select crew was assigned with spearheading this momentous project…. and we were there to document it all. We spent the entire year at TMHQ and several undisclosed locations capturing the entire development process, from concept to completion. This teaser provides early glimpses of the new obstacles and the unorthodox testing process, while still keeping up the the mystery of what is to come. The 5 part obstacle innovation documentary series will be released in 2015.
